This dust box is equipped with 2 foot sensors and each one has a different sensing method to respond to a variety of living styles and environments. The "OUT sensor" opens the lid when you approach the trash can and the "IN sensor" opens the lid when you put your foot in the sensor hall of the trash can. The transition between the "IN sensor" and "OUT sensor" modes can be effortlessly switched using the switch located on the back of the trash can lid.
If you're considering installing the dust box in a household with pets or small children, or in a location where there is limited space in the kitchen, it is advisable to opt for the "IN sensor.” By selecting the "OUT sensor" setting, the dust box's lid will automatically open when someone approaches the front of the can. If you intend to install a trash can in a spacious environment like a living room or office, or in an area with low foot traffic, it is advisable to opt for the "OUT sensor."
If you want to keep the lid open for a certain period of time, you can use the manual “OPEN/CLOSE” button on the top of lid.
Unlike traditional sensor-based trash cans, the innovative combination of a sliding lid and foot sensor eliminates the need to be concerned about the distance between the top of the counter or desk and the dust box. You no longer need to worry about issues such as the lid hitting the top board or the sensor being triggered by the top board.
To address concerns regarding potential odour leakage from the gap between the left and right lid doors of the sliding lid, a solution has been developed in the form of a "stopper." By attaching this stopper, the size of the gap between the lid doors can be reduced by approximately 70%. Consequently, the stopper significantly minimizes odour leakage within the dust box.
